Jodie Jenkins
Club Director
Jodie Jenkins rejoined the staff of Southern Swing Volleyball in June 2022 as Club Director. She is a familiar face at Southern Swing, after founding the organization in 2006 and having served as its first Club Director for 5 seasons. During her original time as Director, Jodie saw the Club grow from only 4 teams in its first season … to 13 competitive teams including ages 12 through 18. Jodie is a native of Victoria and began her volleyball career in 5th grade continuing on through her high school years filling the roles of player, coach, scorekeeper, referee, recruiter and, ultimately, Club Director. She is a 2004 graduate of Victoria Memorial High School and holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Houston – Victoria.
Kelly Briones
Youth Program Coordinator
& Coach
Kelly Briones joined the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball in 2012 and is a familiar face at Southern Swing having played club in the program for 5 seasons beginning at the 13s age level. She has coached non-travel teams through the Rising Stars program as well as club travel teams for ages 11 through 15 and has conducted and assisted with numerous Southern Swing camps and clinics for all ages. Kelly is a native of Victoria and began playing volleyball in 3rd grade. She continued her volleyball career at Victoria Memorial High School and then Victoria West High School where she helped lead her team to back-to-back undefeated district championships and two 4-A Regional Tournament appearances in 2010 and 2011 as co-captain of the Warrior Varsity team while earning various All-District and All-Area honors. Kelly received her ADN from the Victoria College School of Nursing in 2015 and her BSN from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in 2017. She received her Master of Nursing Education degree from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in 2021. She is currently employed as a registered nurse at Citizens Medical Center.
Skylar Chreene
Facilities/Recruiting Coordinator

Skylar Chreene joined the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball in 2019. She has coached non-travel teams through the Rising Stars program as well as club travel teams for ages 14 through 17. Skylar began playing volleyball in 3rd grade through the Industrial Youth League continued her volleyball career at Industrial High School where played at the Varsity level for 4 years receiving various All-District and All-Area honors and served as co-captain of her team as a senior. During middle school and high school Skylar gained 7 years of club experience playing at various clubs in the area and ending her club career with Southern Swing as a senior in high school. After graduation from High school Skylar went on to play volleyball at Victoria College where she earned a spot as starting libero and served as team captain for three consecutive years. While at Victoria College she was recognized as Female Student Athlete of the Year for the 2017-2018 season and Volleyball MVP for the 2018-2019 season. She helped lead the Lady Pirates to two consecutive TCCSL Championships and was named Conference Tournament MVP for the 2018-2019 season. In addition to her time on the court, Skylar served 3 years as the assistant coach for the Victoria College volleyball team and is currently the head coach for the Lady Pirates. Skylar received her Associates degree from Victoria College and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Houston Victoria.
Danielle Garcia

Danielle Garcia joined the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball in 2014 and is a familiar face at Southern Swing having played club in the program for 7 seasons beginning at the 12s level. She was a member of the Victoria West High School volleyball team from 2010 – 2014. Danielle received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting in 2018 and her Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston-Victoria in 2020. She is currently employed at Citizens Medical Center in Human Resources.
Addison Amick
Coach
Addison Amick joined the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball in 2021. She is a 2021 graduate of Boerne High School where she was a 3-year letterman as a libero/defensive specialist and served as team captain. She also received the Defensive MVP award and was recognized as All-Around District Athlete. Addison is currently a student at Victoria College and has continued her volleyball career there as a libero/defensive specialist. She is currently employed by VC Student Life as a student worker.
Kendall Delvige
Coach
Kendall Delvige joined the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball in 2021. She began her playing volleyball in 7th grade at Yoakum Jr. High and a 2015 graduate of Hallettsville High School where she competed as a setter for 4 years. While in high school, she received various honors and awards including Offensive MVP, First Team All-District and Academic All-District. Following high school, she continued her volleyball career at Tarleton State University where she played 2 years for the women’s club team. Kendall holds an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and is employed as a registered Cardiovascular Sonographer at Citizens Medical Center. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Tarleton State University.
Macy Dion
Coach
Macy Dion is new to the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball for the 2023 club season. She is a 2011 graduate of Lake View High School where she was a 3-year letterman as a front row player and primary setter. After high school Macy continued her volleyball career at the University of the Southwest as a right side and received numerous awards including the NAIA Champions of Character award (2012, 2013 & 2014), the Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athlete for Volleyball award (2013 & 2014), President’s List (2013 & 2014), the USW Physical Education Award (2014) and the Student Government Award (2015). In 2014 she was named the USW Scholar Athlete of the Year. Macy has 8 years of college coaching experience at Coastal Bend College and Frank Phillips College. She is currently employed as the head volleyball coach at Coastal Bend College.
Justice Gabaldon

Justice Gabaldon is new to the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball for the 2023 club season. She is a 2021 graduate of Cedar Creek High School where she was a 2-year letterman and competed as a setter. While in high school she was selected to the All-District Academic Team, the All-State Academic Team and First Team All-District. In addition to representing her school, Justice also competed on several club teams and, after graduation, continued her volleyball career at Victoria College where she is currently employed by VC Student Life as a student worker.

Garrett Gomez
Coach
Garrett Gomez joined the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball in 2013. He is a native of San Antonio, Texas and a graduate of Victoria West High School and the University of Houston Victoria where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Garrett began his coaching career at the YMCA where he served for several years and has also coached at Faith Academy and Our Lady of Victory School. In addition, Garrett has coached club teams for ages 12 through 17 as well as youth and middle school teams in the Rising Stars program. He is currently employed as a Special Education teacher, JV volleyball coach and softball coach at Victoria West High School.
Evanly Gonzales

Evanly Gonzales is new to the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball for the 2023 club season. She is a graduate of Karnes City High School where she was a 4-year letterman as a setter and continues to play as an adult in leagues and tournaments. She has spend time coaching privately and has served as a volunteer coach for home school teams and at the YMCA. Evanly is currently employed by IRISNDT as an Inspection Administrator at Invista.
Nicolas (Nic) Graci

Nicolas (Nic) Graci is new to the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball for the 2023 club season. He is a 2018 graduate of Victoria East High School and is currently attending Victoria College. Nic enjoys playing volleyball whenever possible as a middle and outside hitter and competed in the USAV Adult Open Nationals with the Sun City Rangers.
Maddison Heibel
Coach
Maddison Heibel joined the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball in 2021. She played club volleyball for a total of 8 years – 4 of them at Southern Swing. Maddi is a 2019 graduate of Industrial High School where she was a State Bronze Medalist and received several awards and honors including recognition as the All-District Setter for four consecutive years as well as All-Area Setter and All-State Honors for two years. After high school, Maddi continued her volleyball career at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor where she played two seasons and let her team to a Conference Championship. She finished her career playing with the Victoria College Lady Pirates for the 2021 season. Maddi is currently pursuing a degree in Special Education with a BA in Spanish.
Lia Hernandez

Lia Hernandez is new to the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball for the 2023 club season. She is a 2020 graduate of Austwell-Tivoli High School where she was a 4-year letterman and served as team captain. She received recognition as MVP her junior and senior years. After high school, Lia continued her volleyball career at Victoria College where she plays as defense specialist. She is currently employed at 35 and Main Bar & Grill.
Shelby Keith
Coach
Shelby Keith is new to the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball for the 2023 club season. She is a 2021 graduate of Edna High School where she was a 3-year letterman on the Edna Cowgirl varsity team and earned recognition as a member of the First Team All-District and All-State Academic Team. In addition to her accomplishments on the volleyball court, Shelby was a 3-year letterman on the Cowgirl track & field team and, in spite of taking a year off due to open-heart surgery, participated in the State track meet in 2021. She was recognized as the recipient of the Victoria Advocate Fighting Heart Award that same year. Shelby is a familiar face in the gym, having coached numerous Edna teams in our own Southern Swing Summer Leagues over the last 5 sessions. She is currently attending the University of Houston Victoria pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and is employed at Triumph Learning Center.
Trinity Morris
Coach
Trinity Morris is new to the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball for the 2023 club season. She is a 2022 graduate of Victoria East High School where she was a 3-year letterman and starting setter. While in high school she was recognized as MVP in 2021, was a two-time Second Team All-District selection and two-time Leadership Award recipient. Trinity continued her volleyball career at Victoria College where she is currently a student and competes with her team in Region XIV NJCAA. She has also participated in USAV club volleyball and has coached volleyball camps for all ages. Trinity is currently employed by VC Student Life as a student worker.
Jireh Orta

Jireh Orta is new to the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball for the 2023 club season. She began her volleyball career at Travis Middle School and continued to play at Calhoun High School where she graduated in 2019. While in high school, Jireh was a 3-year letterman as a libero and was recognized as All-District Newcomer of the Year in 2016 and Defensive Player of the Year for 3 consecutive years. She also earned All-District Academic recognition and helped lead her team to two Bi-District championships and participated on various club teams for 5 seasons. Jireh is currently employed as a teacher’s aide at Presbyterian Day School.
Rhema Orta
Coach
Rhema Orta is new to the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball for the 2023 club season. She is a 2018 graduate of Calhoun High School where she competed as a libero and received the Fighting Heart Award as well as recognition as MVP. Rhema also participated on various club teams for several seasons. She currently serves as the Varsity Assistant volleyball coach at Faith Academy and is employed as a teacher’s aide at Presbyterian Day School.
Jenni Pinson

Jenni Pinson joined the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball in 2021. Jenni began her volleyball career in third grade and continued through her graduation from Cuero High School. After graduation she attended Texas State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sports Science and Health/Wellness Promotion. Jenni has experience coaching at the high school level having served 3 years as the freshman volleyball and assistant track & cross-country coach at Victoria Memorial High School and then 6 years as junior varsity volleyball and head girls’ track coach at Victoria East High School. She is currently employed at Chandler Elementary School.
Nicole Ressman

Nicole Ressman joined the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball in 2021 and is a familiar face at Southern Swing having played club in the program for 4 seasons. She is a 2019 graduate of Ganado High School where she was a 4-year varsity setter and served as team captain for 3 years. While in high school she was recognized as Second Team All-District and All-Area Honorable Mention for 2 consecutive years and went on to play at Victoria College where she was a defensive specialist. Nicole is currently a student at the University of Houston Victoria and is employed by YK Communications.
Juliana Sismon-Cooley
Coach
Juliana Sismon-Cooley is new to the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball for the 2023 club season. Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and inspired by her brother, she began her volleyball career at age 11 at her local school and began competing at the club level at age 13. She became a member of the Paulista Volleyball Federation and participated at state level tournaments as a middle blocker. While pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Juliana continued to play and worked as an assistant coach for her previous club’s 12s team. She went on to compete at the Junior College level in the United States at Indian Hills Community College and Independence Community College and later helped to recruit other young Brazilian players to Junior Colleges. Juliana holds a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from UNINOVE in Sao Paulo, Brazil and a BSN from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She is currently employed as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department of Cuero Regional Hospital.
Hannah Trevino

Hannah Trevino joined the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball in 2021. She began her volleyball career at Howell Middle School and continued as a three-year letterman at Victoria East High School where she was a 2016 graduate. During her middle school and high school years, Hannah gained 6 years of club experience at local organizations including Southern Swing and went on to play at Victoria College while earning her Associates Degree in Business Management. While at Victoria College, she was team captain for two years and helped lead her team to two TCCSL Conference Championships. In addition to her experience as a player, Hannah has also spent time coaching club teams from ages 12 to 14. She is currently employed by Keating Auto Group.
Ryndee Weishuhn

Ryndee Weishuhn is new to the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball for the 2023 club season. She is a graduate of Columbus High School where she was a 4-year letterman as a right side and middle and earned First Team All-District recognition for 3 consecutive years. She also played club volleyball for 6 seasons. Ryndee continued her volleyball career at Victoria College where she played 3 seasons as a middle, right side and outside hitter. She is currently employed as a Physical Education teacher at O’Connor Elementary School.
Michaela (Kia) Willborn

Michaela (Kia) Willborn joined the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball in 2021. She is a familiar face at Southern Swing having played for the club for 8 seasons. Kia is a 2020 graduate of Victoria West High School where she served as team captain her junior and senior years and earned numerous awards and honors including All-Area Setter, 2nd Team All-District, Top Offensive Player, Most Improved Player and All-Academic recognition her junior and senior years and continued her volleyball career at Victoria College. Kia is currently pursuing a degree in Kinesiology and is employed by the Pet Resort on Main.
Chung Yen Wang
Coach
Chung Yen Wang is new to the coaching staff of Southern Swing Volleyball for the 2023 club season. He is a graduate of Daan High School in Taiwan and the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology where he played on the school team as a setter. Chung played in the Championship of North Taiwan in 2013 and received the Silver Medal of Taiwan Electronic Department. He is currently employed by Formosa Plastics, Corp. in Point Comfort.
